Day 23 – One Thing in Common

I go to such a diverse church. It’s so diverse we have over 15 languages represented. We also have four different types of services to accommodate everyone’s needs, including a French speaking service.

Every one of us is different, from our background, to how we are brought up, where we come from, what we bring, what we do for a living, and so on.

But we all have one thing in common.

We all come together to worship One God.

Some people think the wide diversity in our church would mean there could be conflict and discord. This is so far from the truth though. We are able to come together in unity and harmony to celebrate what matters most.

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28
