A moment is a very brief period in time.
Life can change in just a moment. It might be through something we say. It may also be through external circumstances beyond our control.
An accident
A health issue
Someone in our life
A test result
What do we do in these moments? Probably ask why? I know I do! I may say a few words to God as well. Who’s nodding their head with me?
We need to do a bit more than just rant and rave to God. We need to be open and honest with how we feel when we go through these moments. If you look through the Psalms, David often did that.
We also need to trust God He has our situation at hand. David did that too! In our moments, let’s remember God is holding us.
He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:16-19
